Markant uses a number of interesting features of the CloudSuite eCommerce platform:
Markant has approximately 500 dealers who sell Markant products. To prevent a channel conflict from arising between Markant's webshop and the dealer sales channel, Markant offers the option to choose a dealer service point based on the visitor's location in the checkout. As a result, the order and the customer are linked to the dealer and they are not a competitor for their own dealer network.
Markant's products can be configured flexibly. Think of dimensions, frame color, worktop color, cable management and other options. To enable the ordering process of these customized products online, Markant uses the CloudSuite product configurator. In this way, the customer can easily configure the desired product in steps and place it in the shopping cart with one click on the button.
Markant wants to make it even easier to pay for an order online by offering an iDeal payment link.
At the moment, only orders placed online can be found in the customer's My account environment. In the future, Markant also wants to add orders placed offline.
By showing products in 3D, Markant wants to give customers an even better picture of their products online. As a result, they want to lower the threshold to order online.
At the moment, the process for requesting quotations is outside of CloudSuite. In the future, Markant wants to offer this process in the webshop. This allows customers to request a quote via the webshop and the entire process takes place online.
