CloudSuite and X-com strengthen each other thanks to strategic partnership

Houten - Last month, X-com became an implementation partner of CloudSuite. CloudSuite and X-com have joined forces for a unique partnership that puts both companies in their power. CloudSuite offers a scalable and flexible multichannel eCommerce platform for wholesalers and brand manufacturers to support B2B and B2C channels. The partnership allows both parties to deliver even more quality and service towards their customers.
X-com is originally a Magento specialist that helps companies build and set up custom shops. "We still believe that Magento is among the best e-commerce platforms. A major disadvantage of Magento is that maintaining (updating) the platform takes a lot of time. Realization and testing is costly," explained Bas Peters, managing director of X-com.
Okko Huisman, CEO of CloudSuite, concurs: "In Magento 2, managing the platform has become even more complex. You really need developers with a lot of technical knowledge to build and manage a shop with Magento 2. You are actually forced to carry out a large and quite difficult project. And that's not always what mid-market companies want."
Although X-com also continues to work with Magento, the company began looking for an additional SaaS platform that would allow it to provide 80 to 90 percent of its target audience with a high-quality eCommerce platform with opportunities for continued development. "I had heard good things about CloudSuite and decided to contact them. Two weeks later Okko Huisman and his team sat down with us for a demo. We presented several custom features to them that we developed for customers to see how CloudSuite handles them. To our surprise, almost everything was possible from CloudSuite's standard SaaS solution. This strengthened us in the idea that we were dealing with an eCommerce platform that our customers are going to enjoy", says Bas.
Because X-com and CloudSuite both have their own specialties, the parties complement each other very well. "The strength of CloudSuite lies mainly in the further development of the platform. The technology behind eCommerce, such as functionalities and links, is our core business", says Okko.
X-com focuses mainly on the business side of eCommerce. Think, for example, of outlining a good strategy for eCommerce and finding the best ways to reach your target group and increase conversion. "We think along with customers and are strong in developing web shops for the benefit of the customer goal. As a full-service agency, we also have our own online marketing team. We see a good webshop as an important tool, but not as a goal in itself," says Bas.
Thanks to the cooperation, joint customers benefit from the combined knowledge of CloudSuite and X-com. They get a powerful, user-friendly and future-proof platform through CloudSuite and at the same time benefit from X-com's strategic knowledge and expertise in marketing and optimizing eCommerce channels.
"We provide the technical basis, while X-com is the party who can guide customers in taking the next step in eCommerce. Think for example of internationalization, marketplaces and the optimization of websites," Okko explains. Thanks to this mutual cross-pollination of expertise, both CloudSuite's and X-com's customers can benefit from additional flexibility. "We can use each other's development capabilities together. As a result, we are able to realize customer requirements even faster."
Both parties are pleased with the cooperation. CloudSuite and X-com share the same target group and way of working. "In my opinion we are a level higher than a 'normal' partnership. All credit to the team at CloudSuite. It is a pleasant and highly motivated group of people," Bas believes. "We mutually reinforce each other with our different specialties, which allows us to completely unburden clients technically and strategically," adds Okko.
Founded in 2010, CloudSuite carries the vision that especially the 'mid-market' needs scalable software to support flexible, multichannel eCommerce for b2c and b2b channels. The CloudSuite platform was developed from more than 30 years of eCommerce experience in the b2b segment. It leverages the latest technologies and is not hindered by any legacy. CloudSuite's strategy is to run implementations through partners.
X-com is an eCommerce agency from the south of the Netherlands. With an experienced and knowledgeable team of developers and online marketers, X-com helps companies achieve success in the challenging world of modern eCommerce.
