Kersten BV an international wholesaler of home decoration and lifestyle items, has entered the e-commerce market with a brand new webshop. The wholesaler from Nieuwegein (the Netherlands) recently choose CloudSuite’s platform. A lot of attention has been paid to drawing inspiration for the customers and a responsive design, besides we are working with pre-sales of collections.
The starting point of this project was designing a B2B webshop whilst presenting and creating a strong B2C experience. Putting the user at the center of attention. Moreover, Microsoft’s ERP-system Microsoft Dynamics AX has been linked to the e-commerce platform.
We have also integrated our new spot-out feature. With this feature we attempted to create more afflatus and experience for the visitor. A spot-out is an integrated image into a decorated moodboard or theme image of e.g. a living-, bed- or bathroom. The visitor then clicks on the ‘spots’ (products) in the image, subsequently he or she is directed to the product specifications and will be able to add the product to their shopping basket.
